The GOLEM output channel contains reproductions of motor-side states, ranging from high-level ones that act as controllers to low-level ones that are controlled by them. The GOLEM input channel contains representations of sensor-side states, ranging from high-level ones that act as perceivers to low-level ones that constitute the entities perceived. By virtue of the feedback information flow, the controller/agent can turn its focus upon itself, and derive a self-concept from the intersection of focus and locus in the memory map.
